The Little Refinery offers regular pop-ups, usually 3-4 a month! We are based in Bellingham, but we often travel around Whatcom County and the Seattle area. We do not have a brick & mortar location, so we focus on partnering with local small businesses for pop-ups, joining makers markets, and celebrating with you at private events!

The actual welding process only takes seconds, but plan for 10-15 minutes for your session. It’s quick, pain-free, and tons of fun!

Nope! A high quality micro welder will be used to join your chain together by welding a small jump ring closed. You’ll be left with a simply beautiful claspless bracelet. The weld is quick but very bright, so you will be given the option of wearing darkened safety glasses or simply looking away. The process is quick, pain-free, and tons of fun! 

Cherish your custom chain for years to come, but keep in mind you can remove it at any time by cutting the jump ring off using a pair of kitchen scissors. Make sure you save your chain so that you can have it rewelded later!

Did you know that a permanent bracelet can be removed at any time by using a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the jump ring? Save your chain in a sealed plastic bag so that you can have it re-welded at a later time.

Your permanent chain does NOT need to be from The Little Refinery to have it re-welded. I’m happy to help! Prices vary by jump ring material. A new jump ring will be used for every re-weld.

Q: How do you tan around permanent bracelets?

A: “I tan lots of ladies who have permanent bracelets and anklets. I usually just move it to one spot on the arm for it to sit while I spray and then I’ll take a blending brush and blend that area. Honestly, the wrist part is sprayed the least heavily so it really doesn’t do anything if you’re worried about a tan line.
